Rhymes With Orange

I took the Writing + Drawing Single Panel Cartoons workshop at the Center for Cartoon Studies in WRJ in the summer of 2024. My day-job was on hiatus (TK link), and I'd always harbored a dream of being a cartoonist, despite my inability to draw.*

The main reason I took the course (apart from always dreaming of being a cartoonist despite my inability to draw...) was because it was taught by Hilary Price of Rhymes With Orange, the first cartoon I turn to if I'm at a hotel, diner, or otherwise  location on a Sunday. 

* one (of many) take-aways from this course was Hilary's lesson that kids learn to draw on their own, and continue to draw on their own for themselves up until around age 8, when peer-pressure creeps in and they start to worry about how their art is seen by others.
